Dental Crowns, bridges

If a big part of the tooth-material is missing because of dental caries, an accident or a dental break, a filling is not possible to be made any more. But if the upper part of the teeth exists, the teeth can be built up with a dental crown.

Dental Crowns can be made of different materials:

• metal-ceramic crowns
• gold-ceramic crowns
• titanium-ceramic crowns
• zirkonium ceramic crowns
• pressed ceramic crowns

Post and core

If the upper part of the tooth does not exist any more, but the root is hurtless a post and core will be used by the dentists. The core – like a cap- overlies the remaining part of the tooth, meanwhile its post is fixed in the root.
